The Annual Fire District Election will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2020 from 2:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at the Cedar Knolls Fire Station, 82 Ridgedale Avenue. On this year's Ballot the voters of Fire District No. 3 will be asked to Approve or Disapprove of the District's 2020 Budget, which has a proposal to raise $1,312,254 by taxation, increasing the tax rate to $.089 from the current $.087. This years's budget includes funding for the purchase of one (1) new ambulance.
The voters of the District will also be asked to elect Two Commissioners to the Board, One for a Three-Year term, and one for the Two-Year balance of an unexpired term. Thomas A. Quirk, Jr. seeks election to the three-year term while Michael P. Dugan, Jr. and Silvio Esposito seek election to the two-year term
Mail-In Ballots are available for those who will be absent for the Election consistent with the Mail-In Ballot Requirements.
