CAREER FIRE POSITIONS

CAREER FIREFIGHTER/EMT

Job Announcement 

Career Firefighter/EMT personnel are full-time employees of the Fire District.  These employees work various schedules including weekdays, nights and holidays as well as weekends as required.  Career staff are subject to recall for emergency situations.

Career staff members duties include the day-to-day operations of the District including maintenance of apparatus and equipment as well as providing Firefighting, Rescue and Emergency Medical Services as well as Fire Safety Education and Fire Prevention Inspections. 

Career Firefighter/EMT are competitively compensated and receive medical and dental benefits as well as enrollment into the State's pension system.

Career Firefighter/EMT train constantly and are encouraged to advance their career through various job-related courses.
